Dr. Monnica T. Williams, PhD, ABPP, is a board-certified licensed clinical psychologist, Professor at the University of Ottawa, and Canada Research Chair in Mental Health Innovation and Equity. She is also the Clinical Director of the Behavioral Wellness Clinics in Connecticut and Ottawa, where she trains clinicians in empirically supported treatments. She has previously held faculty appointments at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, the University of Louisville, and the University of Connecticut.

Dr. Williams is a leading scholar in BIPOC mental health and racial trauma, with more than 200 published scientific articles and national leadership roles within the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. Her work has been widely featured in major U.S. and Canadian media outlets.
